- :This is not totally true go to aminet in the hard/hack directory and there are
- :files telling how to get a PC floppy to work with an amiga. Be prepared hard
- :hack means hardware hack follow the directions precisely and if your not
- :electronicly inclined don't bother you'll probably ruin something. i.e. it
- :ain't a plug and play with PC floppies connectors are different mountlist is

- I have been told by a reliable source, who will remain unnamed unless
- he jumps in, that the floppy drives in the new A4000's are HD PC drives
- that are modified to read DD Amiga floppies. Apparently, this was
- Escom's only option since they could not get real Amiga drives for the
- first run. They forgot to diable the HD sensor though :( This causes
- the drive to refuse to format a HD disk as a DD unless you cover the
- hole. I know, we have 4 new A4000T's at work.
